The Real HousePets of New Zealand cast just got a whole lot bigger!
Mercury, George, Rigby and Amelia are currently housed at different SPCA locations across New Zealand, and are looking to find new families.
Check out the adorable cats and dogs below, and help them find their forever home.
“The planets will align when you take me home.” — Mercury
Mercury is a shy boy at first but quickly warms up to you. He loves chin rubs, gentle pats and likes to be groomed. The 4-year-old Persian enjoys curling up in the sun and having an afternoon snooze. Due to his initial shy nature he is best suited to a quiet home where he can take his time settling in with his new family. Come and meet this lovely, gentle chap today! Regular grooming is required for his medium hair. Sunscreen is recommended for his right ear. Mercury is available to adopt at the Auckland Centre.
“Everyone has faith in this boy.” — George
George is approximately 4 years old and is an unclaimed stray who needs a new, loving home. He is a nice-natured boy and loves people. He gets on well with other dogs and loves to play. George is available to adopt at the Kawerau Centre.
“I’m as cute as a button.” — Rigby
Rigby may be deaf, but he is having no problems learning his lesson using hand cues; he is very quick to learn. He will need a well fenced home with someone who will continue his training and understand the special needs and requirements of living with a deaf animal. He will be fine living in a home with children but we haven’t tested him with other animals yet. To adopt 3-month-old Rigby, visit the Whangarei Centre.
“I’m ready for my close-up.” — Amelia
Amelia is a super snugly, affectionate 5-month-old girl. She likes to play and especially loves chasing string or anything that wriggles around, including her sisters’ tails. She absolutely loves being held, cuddled and will fall asleep in your arms or on your lap. When she’s feeling especially lovey she will come over and meow at you for a snuggle. She was born to cuddle, so if you’re looking for a cuddly baby then she’s the kitten for you! Amelia is available to adopt fro the Levin Centre.
